  •        The commercial graphite anode capacity is around 360mAh/g, which is very close to its theoretical specific capacity of 372mAh/g. In comparison, the theoretical specific capacity of silicon materials is very high (Li22Si5 formed at high temperature, corresponding to a capacity of 4200 mAh/g; Li15Si4 formed at room temperature, corresponding to a capacity of 3579 mAh/g; for comparison of volumetric energy density, graphite is 837mAh/cm3, Li15Si4 is 9786mAh/cm3). Compared with other anode materials, the delithiation voltage is also low (~0.5V), only slightly higher than graphite. Therefore, silicon-based materials are expected to become the supporting anode materials for high-energy density lithium batteries, with high nickel NCM811/NCA positive electrode for best results.
            In the Si/C composite system, Si particles are used as active materials to provide lithium storage capacity; C can not only restrain and buffer the volume change of the silicon anode during charge and discharge, but also prevent Si particles from agglomerating during charge and discharge cycles; Prevent the electrolyte from penetrating to the center and maintain a stable interface and SEI.

    Storage Condition

     

    1、Suggest storage temperature and humidity controlled below 40 ℃ and 60 %RH, respectively, for brandnew; After opening, please use it up as soon as possible.
    2、After opening for 1 hour, it is a natural phenomenon for moisture regain, implying that moisture content of powder could be increased to 3000 ppm. Suggest drying it again before use.
